Oh my is this really how we all relax in the Mendez house?!?! I know Javier & I love our electronics…just look how it is influencing our kids! I guess we do live in the time where electronics are prevalent!

Today, we celebrated Alon’s 3rd birthday at the CDC with cupcakes! It was a fun time to watch all the kids get excited about decorating & eating the cupcakes…okay, probably more excited about the sprinkles then anything!

Had to spend Mother’s Day on duty this year! Didn’t do to much; hung out at the house & some friends came over for dinner & to make hand print molds! I do feel very blessed to have two of the greatest children on earth!

We celebrated Cinco de Mayo with Alon at the CDC. The kids made their own nachos & quesadillas and listened to spanish music!
PB & J tortillas
You would think that is all Alon does is eat, but actually it can be a challenge to get him to eat things…darn tastebuds!!! Here he is sucking the PB & J out of the tortilla. This was a different tactic. Usually he just licks it all off & asks for more!
